Former President of India - Demise

 Former President Pranab Mukherjee passed away on Monday afternoon after he developed a lung infection at the Army’s Research and Referral hospital where he had been admitted for a brain surgery. This morning itself the hospital in a medical bulletin has said that Mr Mukherjee had gone into septic shock due to the lung infection. He had also tested COVID19 positive.

Vrikshabandhan

 Vrikshabandhan is a concept or celebration inspired by Rakshabandhan, but instead of tying a rakhi to a sibling, people tie a rakhi (or decorative thread) to a tree. The idea is to show love, respect, and commitment to protecting nature—just like we promise to protect our brothers or sisters. It is usually done to raise awareness about environmental conservation, deforestation, and the importance of trees in our lives.
