National Police Museum

An educational trip to National Police Museum, Chanakyapuri, was organized for students of classes 6-8 on 28.07.2023, Friday, within school timings, to show students how our national and state police function at various levels and to pay homage to the police force martyrs. The guide Mr. Kuldeep Singh Bharadwaj, explained every little aspect of the memorial and the museum to the students. Through audio-visual aids, many documentaries were shown to students and the history behind the establishment of the memorial as well as the museum; and the history of the police force martyrs was explained through a short film in the theatre room. The huge green area was cleanly maintained and every inch of it resonated of the sacrifice made by the martyrs whose names were engraved on the marble slabs surrounding the entire memorial. The visit proved to be highly knowledgeable and a very memorable experience for all.  

Designing Class Rules -Class VI

 Students of class VI read kings Hammurabi's code of conduct, taking inspiration from it, students designed code of conduct for their classroom. Class performed this activity in house groups. Each hroup designed code for the class. Students also explained their ideologies behind the rules they made. 

Health and Nutrition Club- Fruit Parfait

 In the Health and Nutrition Club, students from classes 2 to 8 had the opportunity to work alongside the young master chef, Gaurang from Class VII, to create a delectable Fruit Parfait.  The process began by finely chopping a variety of fruits such as apple, pear, banana, and plum. In a separate bowl, Amul cream or flavored cream was skillfully whisked to perfection. Once ready, the fruits were gently mixed with the cream, and to enhance the texture and flavor, a delightful combination of museli, dry fruits, chocolate syrup, and honey were added. The end result was a tantalizing blend of crunchy and sweet sensations that left everyone thoroughly satisfied.  This Fruit Parfait not only delighted the taste buds but also provided a healthy and effortless treat.

Presentation of History - Class VII

Students of class VII were divided into several groups of 3-4students. They were free to select any topic from history. Students were supposed to follow the following instructions-  Participants to report a news about two events from the lives of people in any one civilisation:-  Paleolithic age Neolithic age Iron age Indus valley civilisation  Mauryam age Medieval India  Modern India Participants can use images of houses, buildings, tools, equipments, food, culture etc. From that age to create background. Costumes related to it can be worn. Duration of presentation- 2-3minutes No. Of participants - 3 in one group
